JRW Fishing.com ~ Trout Fishing Size Chart
         Trout Identification

Discount spinners up to 50% Off!!! , supply is limited, so act quickly!

Below you will find a chart to show how much your fish weighs in relation to its length.  This chart is a great addition to your fishing gear.  If you use it, your stories will become that much more believable.  I know I've personally had many people who have said to me, "Yeah, yesterday I caught a 4 pound Rainbow on that trout bait I was telling you about." And you just know by looking at the person that they wouldn't know a four pound Rainbow from a 16 inch Brown.

Now if you had given them a copy of the LTW chart from JRWfishing.com it would be a different story.  The other interesting thing that I learned was that back in Pennsylvania (where we grew up); you always measured your trout, but never even guessed on weight.  Then when I moved to Montana I figured out that they related their trout to weight not length.  And then I figured out that most of them had no clue as to what the weight actually was.  Hence the JRW LTW conversion chart below.  To us it makes ultralight fishing that much better.  Enjoy.
