The history (where JRW came from): JRW stands for my late
father's initials. He was an avid fisherman who grew up in
Pennsylvania and spent a great deal of time in Florida as well. My
father dedicated his life to fishing, specializing in ultralight
trout fishing. His accredited fish also included NY state salmon and
steelhead, and a variety of game fish in Florida, both fresh and
saltwater. Throughout my father's life, he came up with some very
simple and practical means to make his fishing experience easier and
more enjoyable. He even developed some proprietary fishing gear. He
shared these ideas with very few people and that's where we come in.
Not only did my father teach us how to fish, he showed us his fishing
secrets as well.
Our mission: Our mission is to pass my fathers secrets on to
you. The products that we offer are very simplistic; however they
each serve an important purpose while fishing, especially trout
fishing. Our products are of the highest quality- they have to be,
not only because we use the same products, but because that's what my
father insisted. His motto was that you can't skimp on your fishing
equipment because your trophy fish is on the next cast. If you don't
have the right fishing equipment, you set yourself up for failure. We
adopted this philosophy and want to carry on the JRW fishing
tradition with people who love to fish as much as we do.
The products: You will find various products on our website.
Each is intended to make your fishing experience more convenient and
enjoyable. These products can be used for both fresh and salt water
fishing- you will be covered when you do hook up (you'll hook up a
heck of a lot more if you use the gang hooks). All of the JRW
products are guaranteed- if our products fail, then we've failed and
compromised your fishing- send back the item, we'll replace it and
send you one more on us. Just to let everyone know, we do have more
products on the way. We know that you will love the products that we
offer so far, and we'll keep you posted on the status of those to
come.
